This vending machine chose the wrong person to malfunction on. With the purchasing power of our dollar being reduced by our frivolous government, people are at the end of their rope when it comes to losing. Many are aware of how badly they are being taken advantage of. Some are fed up and they are willing to risk a couple of felony charges to send their message. I got Debra Johnson's message loud and clear. She is just one of many who are consumed by frustration and they are sick of being taken advantage of. Most importantly people are wise to how the functions that are supposed to serve them are dysfunctional systems that take advantage of people. Sure she didn't have to light the machine on fire, but none of us are perfect. A dollar doesn't buy squat anymore, so every single one counts when you don't have a lot. We have all been guilty of roughing up a soda machine at least once or twice. We all know the frustration of not getting our money's worth. This poor woman has probably been taken advantage of countless times and this time she pays the price for retaliation. A nasty letter would have been more effective than arson, but a letter seldom makes for good news stories. #FreeDebraJohnson
